BACKGROUND INFO:

JH Memmer Technical Services, Inc. began part-time in 1986 as Memmer's Electronic Service, owned and operated by Jim Memmer. In 1992, the company was incorporated and the name changed to more accurately reflect the range of services offered. In 1994, full-time consulting services were begun.

From the beginning, the objective has been to solve control system problems encountered in industry in an appropriate and efficient manner. Emphasis is on electrical/electronic controls, but mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic experience contributes to the ability to provide an integrated approach to problem-solving. The technique of combining a solid understanding of science, experience with technology and management, and a common sense hands-on approach to troubleshooting, provides cost-effective solutions for business and industry.

No specific company’s products or services are represented. This assures customers that the most effective solution to their problems will be selected in an objective manner, without prejudice to brand, supplier, or service provider. Equipment can be specified or provided, as the customer prefers.

Consulting services are provided in the manner preferred by the customer to support their staff or contractors.

No special expertise with a particular brand or industry is claimed, but hands-on experience with a wide variety of industries, equipment, applications and the ability to solve problems is an accurate description of our services.

Being a one person operation, very large or time-constrained projects may not be appropriate for me to tackle. I do partner with other consultants and contractors as needed to provide services required by my customers.

You will always be given an honest assessment of whether I can help and when I can deliver that assistance.
